Just outside the center of Bangkok lies the Airplane Graveyard. Wedged between apartment buildings and a road, you’ll find a big field that is littered with stripped airplane wrecks.
The graveyard consists of one huge double-decker plane and another four smaller planes, they’ve been abandoned in Central Bangkok for no apparent reason. Recently a small family has moved into the grounds and are living in one of the old airport hangers on the site, quite entrepreneurially they have set up a locked gate and now you need to pay them to enter their ‘home’. They charge 300THB per person, about 10 euro , feel free to negotiate with them but remember it’s a whole family and they need the money more than you so don’t barter too hard.
