Tweechol Botanical Garden is a private botanical park founded in 1997 by a couple who loves to share their passion in plants and trees. Covering an area of 114 acres, it is one of the largest gardens in Thailand.
You may start your journey at Huen Chaiharn Museum to visit sacred Buddha images and browse around ancient artifacts before heading out to check out the Center Point, a cluster of domes where various kinds of plants such as orchids, bromeliads, anthurium, colocasia, monotera, cacti and succulents, are displayed. Palm Garden is also interesting as it owns as much as 58 kinds of palm trees, some of them had traveled long way from South America and Japan. Located within the area is Horizon Village-Family Hotel that offers spacious guestrooms amid Lanna ranquility.
